Mercedes S 580 Gets a Bold Makeover in Tiffany Blue

15 Apr, 2025 1
Tuned Mercedes S 580 with Tiffany Blue interior

"Plain" might not be the first word you think of when discussing a Mercedes S-Class. Especially not models like the powerful AMG S 63 E Performance or the luxury-filled Maybach S 680 with a V12 engine. Still, for car lovers, even these top models can feel too calm or standard.

You can buy a V8-powered Mercedes-Benz S-Class and enjoy smooth, quiet driving for years—as long as nothing breaks (yes, Mercedes build quality can be hit or miss!). But if you love cars, you might need to make it unique. And there are many ways to customize your S-Class and give it a fresh, exciting look.

Custom Options for the S-Class

From stylish body kits to bold fender flares, fancy interiors, better brakes, and more power—there are tons of upgrades just a few clicks away. But finding the right balance can be hard. Go too far, and your car might look overdone. Don't go far enough, and it may not feel special.

Usually, "less is more" works best when tuning cars. However, the Mercedes-Benz S 580 in the pictures above does not follow that rule. It has custom touches outside, some chrome parts that match the black paint perfectly, and large two-tone wheels with the classic Mercedes star in the center.

Bold Interior in Tiffany Blue

At first glance, it might not seem unusual. But once you look inside or open the doors, it's clear this car is far from basic. It has a bright Tiffany Blue leather interior. This color covers the seats, center console, dashboard (top and bottom), steering wheel, door panels, and more. The roof lining is black, with extra black and chrome trim inside the car.

What's Under the Hood and More Upgrades

This custom S 580 was built by Roadshow International, which shared the project on its social media. The car also has a 20-mm (0.8-inch) lowering kit, nano-ceramic window tint, and a custom exhaust system.

It's said to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds, powered by 516 horsepower (523 PS / 385 kW). But from the factory, the 4.0L V8 in the S 580 already makes 496 hp (503 PS / 370 kW), which lets it go from 0–62 mph in 4.4 seconds. So, the claimed extra 20 hp probably wouldn't cut 0.7 seconds off the time—this might be an error from the tuner.

For Sale—But Price ?

Roadshow International says this one-of-a-kind S 580 is up for sale, but they haven't shared the price yet. The 2025 S-Class starts at $128,600 in the U.S., so this customized version will likely cost more.
