Larte's BMW X7

Larte's BMW X7

BMW does not offer a full-fledged M version of the X7, as that is essentially what the Alpina XB7 is for. However, multiple tuners can respond to the call by increasing output and thrust, modifying the chassis, improving the brakes, and installing a custom body kit.

Larte Design can handle the latter, and their newest take on the LARTE BMW X7 is quite appealing. This ride began life in silver, riding on OEM five double-spoke alloys. However, after leaving the tuner's garage, it had a dual-tone look, with dark blue and glossy black, a body kit, and new wheels.

A few before-and-after photos show the additional components, which include a front bumper overlay, chin spoiler inserts, a rear diffuser, side blades attached to the rear bumper, a larger roof spoiler, and side skirt attachments. If you're wondering why the hood looks different, it's because it's new and features the tuner's emblem directly above the double-nostril grille.

Larte Design did not comment on the wheels. However, these are unquestionably new. They feature BMW's anniversary emblems on the center caps, a five-spoke pattern, a dark appearance, and spin above black brake calipers with M branding. More M logos can be seen on the front fenders and tailgate, next to the 60i logo, revealing the specifications of the pictured BMW X7.

Thus, you're looking at a BMW X7 M60i with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8. The stock motor produces 553 pound-foot (750 Nm) of torque from 1,800 to 4,600 rpm and 523 horsepower (530 ps/390 kW) from 5,500 to 6,000 rpm. The pictured high-rider appears to have no technical revisions under the hood, so it should still be capable of 130 mph (210 kph) or 155 mph (250 kph), with 0-60 mph (97 kph) grabbing a very respectable 4.5 seconds.

Another aspect that Larte Design has not mentioned or revealed in recent social media photos is the cockpit. Such a build necessitates new upholstery with a hint of exclusivity in the form of custom embossing and other embellishments. Nonetheless, this BMW X7 M60i does not appear to fit this description either. Otherwise, the tuner would have mentioned it in the Instagram post embedded below this story.

Those interested in the body kit should be aware that it is compatible with all BMW X7 models (LCI and non-LCI), as long as they have the M Sport Pack. Pricing details are unknown, but contacting the tuner will reveal how much everything costs.
