Brabus 900 Rocket: The Most Expensive Mercedes GLE in the World

The latest Brabus limited-edition supercar, based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, was unveiled at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show. It is limited to 24 vehicles globally and is the quickest street-legal SUV money can buy. Each of the 24 cars will be priced at $450,000 before taxes and shipping.

Brabus raised the displacement of the GLE Rocket engine from 4.0L to 4.2L, resulting in a maximum power of 900hp and 1250 Nm in maximum torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.2 s, and the new maximum speed is 330 km/h.

Fuel is delivered to the engine via two pumps that are high-pressure with increased delivery rate and an extra boost pump. Furthermore, the two production turbos have been replaced by special turbochargers featuring larger compressor units and core assemblies with reinforced axial bearings.

The vehicle has bodywork parts made of high-tech carbon, a chin spoiler to reduce front-axle lift at high speeds, intakes with the 'Rocket' logo, carbon trim for the side air outlets, and a diffuser insert that perfectly demonstrates the highly efficient exhaust system. The vehicle is also equipped with a three-piece rear spoiler.

Brabus offers the GLE 63 with a set of aluminum wheels in a variety of designs and diameters, including 21, 22, 23, and 24 inches. The 900 Rocket Edition features Monoblock Z 'Platinum Edition' wheels with a diameter of 24 inches and exposed-carbon aero discs. The front axle uses 10Jx24 wheels with 295/30 ZR24 outstanding performance tires, while the rear axle has 12Jx24 wheels with 355/25 ZR24 tires.

The interior of the model is upholstered in fine Mastik leather, Alcantara in any desired color, and noble-wood and carbon interior sets in many kinds of colors and finishes on the surface. In addition, the interior of the vehicle has been completed in 'Superior Gray' to match the exterior. The Rocket Edition costs 381,243 euros, excluding taxes and shipping.
